Hello, my name is Kenneth Randle Landers, and I am a highly accomplished author, and all my books have been given the highest critical acclaim. My new book ROOM FOR GOOD FOOD AND OTHER STORIES was released on July 6, 2021. I'm humbly grateful to share it with others. If one wants to purchase it, one can purchase it from Cyberwit.net, Amazon, or Barnes and Noble. Since Cyberwit.net published it, I would like to first encourage one who wants to order it to order it from them. Thus, if one wants to order it, here is the link to order it from Cyberwit.net. Plus, my short story "Room for Good Food" was featured in the Expat Press, and here is a link to that if you would like to read it. https://expatpress.com/room-for-good-food-kenneth-randle-landers/ It is also in my new book ROOM FOR GOOD FOOD AND OTHER STORIES. And, my short story "Speaking With The Eyes" from my new book ROOM FOR GOOD FOOD AND OTHER STORIES is published in the June 2021 Edition of the Taj Mahal Review. I am also the author of the poetry books The Arizona Son (by Randy Landers which is me) and Black Honey (by Kenneth Randle Landers, and which was published by Clear Fork Publishing). On Barnes and Noble, you can preview some of The Arizona Son (the description, introduction, and four poems), and you can purchase it there or on Amazon. Also, you can purchase my second poetry book Black Honey on the Clear Fork Publishing website, Amazon, and Barnes and Noble. Here is the first poem from my new poetry book Black Honey which is available now.
Local Flavor
Hemingway said Paris
is a movable feast
but for me it is Texas
Instead of French cuisine
I savor mesquite words
in open prairies
of my memory
I am not a fisherman
but fish for fried catfish
in restaurants in hopes
to return to muddy rivers
where my guides
taught me how to find
insight that swam
beneath the surface
I wish I had known then
that my education
was a buffet not to satisfy
but to make me pine
as I age for what
I was offered and ate
but not near enough of.
Then I did not care much
for fried okra and grits
and fried catfish was okay
but today nothing tastes better.

I have given many book events for my books at different places (such as libraries, independent bookstores, and Barnes and Noble stores, and I was chosen to be the featured keynote poet at a book event (Bookmans Poet Society Social) at Bookmans Midtown in Tucson, AZ . Here is a link to an article about it and me. https://bookmans.com/events/bookmans-poets-society-social/ And, I have a strong letter of recommendation from the Barnes and Noble Community Business Development Manager Sarah Mize in Hurst, Tx at the time I did a book event there. A lot of people have said great things about my books and events. Places continuously contact me to invite me to give a book event. I enjoy sharing my work with others and meeting new people at my events, and I am humbly honored and thankful. And, my book The Arizona Son was taught by Dr. Steven Moore to his students in his American Literature courses at Abilene Christian University.
